Membership Information
Crewe of Bobbie C. Davis, Inc.
Thank you for your interest in the Crewe of Bobbie C. Davis,
the Sailingest Krewe!
Membership in the Crewe is by invitation only. If you do not
have personal contact with a member of the Crewe, you may inquire about
our many 'Meet N' Greet' socials or 'work parties' where Crewe members
volunteer to help out with float work or charitable events that include
sailing regattas for organizations like Sailability of Greater Tampa Bay
(http://www.sailability.org.au/us/florida/).
Your primary sponsor will provide you with a copy of the Membership
Application and keep you abreast of Crewe activity. You will need two
other sponsors before the Membership Committee will accept your
application. All Crewe activity is governed by our Bylaws that can be
viewed on this web site.
Upon receipt of your completed application, the Membership Committee will
review your request at their next scheduled meeting for recommendation to
the Board of Directors. An application will be deemed complete only if
the following items listed below are submitted to the Membership Committee.
Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant, unprocessed.
Application for Membership is complete. Application is signed and dated.
Photo must be attached (a photocopy of your current driver's license or
passport photo will be acceptable).
Sponsorship requirements have been met. Three sponsorship forms have
been provided for this purpose. Forms must be completed.
Membership Indemnity Release and Waver Agreement has been signed and
attached to the Application.
Initiation fee of $200 and annual dues of $150 must be enclosed, in
the form of a check or money order payable to Crewe of Bobbie C. Davis,
Inc. This amount may be subject to change. In the event the fee/dues
change prior to receipt of this application by the Crewe of Bobbie C.
Davis, your sponsor will notify you of any additional funds required.
